Del Cadia scores 28, Sco routs Birmingham

PRESTON — Edoardo Del Cadia had a game-high 28 points on 11-of-17 shooting to go with nine rebounds and five assists, and Myerscough beat Birmingham Mets 94-58 on Saturday.

Konrad Kantorski scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half in which Myerscough established its dominance with a 27-point lead. The guard score the first four points of a 14-0 run over four minutes that broke open a 40-27 scoreline.

Myerscough (17-1, 12-1 National Basketball League 3) then opened the first three minutes of the second half on a 15-2 run as the exclamation point for the team’s 14th consecutive win overall dating back to Nov. 12.

Aaron Martin added 14 points for Myerscough, which shot 51 percent and knocked down 10 3-pointers. Myerscough had eight different scorers in the game.

D. Belgrave finished with 16 points to lead Birmingham Mets (7-9, 4-8) in the loss.
