Myerscough’s win streak ends at 17 against Loughborough II

PRESTON, Lancs. — Myerscough saw its overall win streak snapped at 17 games following a 76-63 defeat to the Loughborough Student Riders II on Sunday.

The Division 3 North regular season champions last lost on Nov. 5 against Sheffield before reeling off 13 straight wins in league play.

Edoardo Del Cadia tied for a game-high 18 points, but was the lone scorer to reach double figures for Myerscough (21-2, 15-2).

Loughborough II broke open a 56-52 game by closing out the final 3:31 of the third quarter on a 5-2 run, and Myerscough, which struggled shooting the ball, never recovered.

N. Harris and A. Forsyth each scored 18 points for Loughborough II (12-5) in the win.
