Myerscough Basketball Academy is pleased to announce a multi-year partnership with Pure Leisure Group, which will include facility sponsorship of the High Performance Centre on the Myerscough College campus.

“This is a huge step forward for the Academy and really allows us to enhance the experience of our students whilst they are with us,” said Myerscough Programme Director Neal Hopkins. “The sponsorship will go towards funding additional competitions and will allows us to add a new level of professional to the programme.”

Founded in 2004 by John Morphet, Pure Leisure Group operates six holiday lodges and caravan parks in the Southern Lake District with a further three in Northamptonshire and East Anglia. Pure Leisure Group also provides leisure facilities with classes, pools, saunas and steam rooms.

“Pure Leisure Group is delighted to add to the Myerscough experience and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute,” said Morphet. “When I chose to sponsor the Academy it was very much with the thought in mind that this was a good way to offer support, which helps to broaden the learning experience making it enjoyable, enriching and fun.”

The partnership will further include jersey sponsorship, as well as courtside advertising and game day features, which will continue to invest effort into providing Myerscough’s student athletes with a unique experience to study and grow.

“It’s an exciting partnership which I am sure will have a long lasting impact on our students’ journey,” said Hopkins. “I am very hopeful that this is the start of something that can really help propel us to new heights.”
