Osobor drops 26, Sco tops James Watt 93-41

PRESTON, England – Great Osobor scored 26 points to go with 15 rebounds and seven assists, and Myerscough routed James Watt College 93-41 in the EABL Summer Showcase on Sunday.

David Chive added 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including a trio of 3-pointers. Myerscough hit 13 threes total and went 44 percent from the field.

James Watt opened the game on a 7-0 run before Myerscough used a 24-5 burst to surge ahead and never looked back. Sco used a 30-6 second quarter to build a 54-18 advantage at halftime.

Myerscough, which led by as many as 54, scored 26 points off 25 James Watt turnovers and added 24 second chance points from 23 offensive rebounds. Sco outrebounded their opponent 53-37 and 42-22 in the paint.

Josh Iljeh led James Watt in the loss with 15 points (7-11 FG) and 14 rebounds and Sam Cheshire added 13 points.
