EYBL 2022-23 season gets underway

Preston, England – The 2022-23 edition of the European Youth Basketball League got underway last weekend in Riga, Latvia as the teams from Group B and Group C faced off. Omnia BA (Finland) emerged as stage winners with a clean sweep over North Atlantic BA (Ireland), Reinar Halliku Korvpallikool/Vinni (Estonia), BS Riga (Latvia), BS Ridzene (Latvia) and TalTech BS (Estonia).

Myerscough will open its third regular season in Valmiera, Latvia on Friday, Sept. 23 against Sweden’s Haga BG Dolphins as the remaining groups A and D join the action. Having been crowned regular season champions back in 2019, Myerscough will be keen to hit the ground running and maintain the pace already set by the Riga stage as they return to the court after a pandemic induced hiatus.
