Harrison, who entered ranked in the top 20 in scoring at the tournament, also grabbed five rebounds whilst Myerscough teammate Milly Knowles played 21 minutes in the 55-46 quarterfinal win over Romania.

Great Britain overcame a slow start and turned around a 12-point first quarter deficit. The Under-18s took a 45-44 lead with 4:01 remaining in the game.

Harrison would sink two vital free throws in the dying moments giving Great Britain a seven-point lead that it wouldn’t relinquish.

Knowles, meanwhile, has started every game this tournament averaging 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest.

Great Britain will face Germany in the semifinals on Saturday with tipoff set for 8:30 p.m. at the National Basketball Arena in Dublin.
