Shauna Harrison scored a team-high 16 points in Great Britain’s 64-55 semifinal defeat to Germany at the FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship in Dublin.
The guard, who entered as the team’s second leading scorer, finished 6-of-14 from the field and tied for a team-high with six rebounds.
Myerscough teammate Milly Knowles started her seventh-straight game at the tournament and added five points on 2-of-3 shooting in 22 minutes.
Great Britain led 35-31 at the half, but was outscored 19-7 in the third quarter whilst being held without a point for six and a half minutes.
The Under-18s still have a chance at promotion to Division A when they face Poland, which was defeated by Ireland, in the bronze medal game on Sunday. Tip off is set for 6:15 p.m. from the National Basketball Arena.
