NEWCASTLE – Callan Low led five players in double-figures with a game-high 20 points and Myerscough routed Newcastle 101-36.
Travis Edwards and Jamie Gray scored 11 points each and Louis Sullivan and Lewis McGlasson both added 10 for Myerscough (6-1), whose largest deficit of three came on Newcastle’s opening possession.
Myerscough then surged ahead with a 19-0, held the Eagles scoreless for nine minutes and never looked back.
Theo Riley led Newcastle (2-5), which had just six made field goals in the first half, with 10 points in the loss.
