Myerscough add Troy Culley

Myerscough College Basketball Academy are delighted to have appointed Troy Culley to the coaching team for the start of the 2016/17 season. Culley will begin his position in August and will work alongside existing staff to prepare the academy for their up and coming EABL and National League campaigns.

“I’m really excited to join the coaching staff at Myerscough. Having previously worked with Neal (Hopkins) I feel that we both share similar thoughts and ideas” Commented Culley.

Along side working at Myerscough, Culley will also be studying for a Post Graduate diploma in Elite Coaching Practice at the University of Central Lancashire.

“The position not only provides me with the opportunity to continue coaching at a high level but also to continue my academic studies at UCLan, the combination made it a no brainer and I can not wait to get started”.

Culley is highly regarded as one of the best up and coming young coaches in British Basketball, having recently held positions at Kent Crusaders and is currently the apprentice coach with England U16 boys.

Troy brings incredible enthusiasm and is driven by ambition. His attention to detail and commitment to the development of young people is something that is vitally important. I am really looking forward to working with Troy” Said Myerscough Head Coach Neal Hopkins.

Everyone at Myerscough would like to wish Troy a warm welcome!
