Myerscough College creates new Lecturer in Basketball position

PRESTON, England – Myerscough Basketball Academy is hiring to fill the newly created position of Lecturer in Basketball at Myerscough College, Neal Hopkins announced on Thursday.

The position, as a L3 Basketball programme lead, will serve to deliver Basketball and Sport modules to students on courses predominately in Further Education (FE) and may extend to deliver on Higher Education (HE) programmes as needed.

Applicants are required to have a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject or have significant inudstry experience, as well as a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one. Non-teacher qualified applicants may be able to access an enhanced support package through the Taking Teaching Further scheme which includes a reduced timetable, work shadowing/mentoring, and support with the costs of the teaching qualification.
