WORCESTER — Myerscough extended its win streak to seven league games and maintained its position atop Division 3 with a convincing 97-66 road win over the Worcester Wolves II on Saturday.
Konrad Kantorski led five players in double-figures scoring with a game-high 25 points. Edoardo Del Cadia added 18 points and Edvards Sirmbardis had 17. David Walsh scored 15 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, and Callan Low finished with 10 for Myerscough (10-1), which connected on 11 threes in the game.
During its current win streak, Myerscough has averaged 92.3 points per game and outscored opponents by a 34-point margin, holding teams to just 58.3 points.
Myerscough fell behind 7-0 early before scoring eight unanswered points. The Wolves would edge ahead by two, but back-to-back 3-pointers from Sirmbardis and Kantorski gave the visitors a 13-9 lead.
Low, who provided a spark of the bench, broke 15-all tie, and Myerscough then used a 9-3 run to start the second quarter to break the game open. Myerscough stayed in control throughout the second half en route to surpassing the team’s wins total of nine from a season ago.
J. Stapelton had 17 points and Z. Noble added 16 to lead the Wolves (4-6).
