PRESTON – Amari Williams scored a game-high 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting to go with nine rebounds and five assists and unbeaten Myerscough routed SGS College 103-69 on Wednesday in the EABL.
Lewis McGlasson added 17 points and Great Osobor chipped in a season-high 15. Osobor pulled in nine rebounds and made five steals — both game highs.
Myerscough, which never trailed and led 51-40 at halftime, outscored SGS College 25-7 to start the third quarter to blow the game open. Mikey Irvine’s layup sparked a 16-0 run, highlighted by back-t0-back threes from the guard and McGlasson.
Franklin Agu finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals. Dan Gargan went 4-of-7 from the field and had 11 points.
Myerscough shot over 50 percent for a fourth consecutive game, matching a season-best 53.1 percent. Five players hit two threes and Sco went 10-of-27 from range.
SGS College was forced into 22 turnovers, which Myerscough converted into 27 points. Sco asserted themselves on the glass holding a 57-36 margin, scoring 20 second chance points off 20 rebounds.
Finlay Woodward had a team-high 16 points and nine rebounds. Nassim Ladjimi (13 points) and Thomas Browne (12 points) each had four steals, and Marvin Dinnall added 11 points and four assists.
