Sam Akano ranked fourth on Myerscough in scoring with 7.6 points per game on 50 percent shooting at Stage I of the European Youth Basketball League season. Akano led the team in assists (2.2), which was 15th in the league, and steals (1.8). The guard posted a personal bests of 15 points against BC Helsinki and five assists versus TTÜ BS. He scored in double-figures in three of five games.
